Hello everyone,

This art and poem is for Hossam @hossamalbardawel , who has lost his mother, his father, and all his siblings. The grief and pain he experiences from losing them haunts him everyday. He is now responsible for taking care of his brothers’ late wives and children - essentially, he is trying to collect the funds to evacuate what is left of their family!

This campaign has been vetted by @/el-shab-hussein and @/mohameddd.

You can help give them hope and start a new life.

Currently, they are at $7,462 CAD / $20,000 CAD.

Please consider donating to Hossam - every donation helps! Let’s help him and his family while we still can ❤️‍🩹🙏🏻

Maha @mahafamily1 needs to have an emergency hysterectomy! She recently had a miscarriage, and if she does not have a hysterectomy NOW, she will die!!

The doctor told her EVERY MINUTE OF DELAY DECREASES HER CHANCE OF SURVIVAL!!! Minute-by-minute, we are losing Maha!!!

Because her recent emergency operation had to be paid on credit, and is not yet paid, Maha now needs to pay the full cost of the hysterectomy up-front before the procedure will be done!!! She urgently URGENTLY requires $2000 USD in order to survive!!!

MAHA IS DYING AS I TYPE THIS!!! I am in tears begging you all, do not let medical bureaucracy take such a beautiful soul!!!!

NEED TO RAISE: €1,922 EUR ($2000 USD)!!!

PROGRESS: €0/€1922

Maha is in preparation for her hysterectomy!!! You all made this possible!! Thank you so much❤️

Please pray that Maha’s surgery goes well and she is able to recover!!

In the mean time, please continue sharing her family’s campaign. This is not the end of Maha’s medical journey, far from it.

To add to her problems, she still owes $3000 USD for a previous emergency surgery, and the hospital will have her husband Ahmed imprisoned in 2 full days if they cannot make the payment.

Maha will not be able to recover if the debt is not paid because the hospital will once again refuse all treatment unless it is paid in full up-front. And that will be even more difficult to do if Ahmed is in jail and the hospital brings legal action against their family!!

Maha still needs your help!! Please keep sharing and donate anything you can!!!

New temporary goal: €19,300

Progress:

€97 out of €3,000 raised

€16,321 out of €19,300

Please keep sharing, we have a lot of progress to make!!

UPDATE: 16,466 out of 19,300

Progress: €242 out of €3,000

Need to raise: €2,758 or about $2,875

Update: €16,811 out of €19,300

Progress: €587 out of €3,000

Need to raise: €2,413 EUR (about $2,516 USD)

Please help Maha continue her treatment by paying this debt and keeping her family together!!!

I'm making this poll to highlight one thing you can commit to this coming year, which is helping the people of Gaza survive through genocide and famine.

We are all hoping that 2025 will bring an end to the genocide of the Palestinian people, and the freedom and peace they all deserve, an end to the occupation and an oppurtunity to rebuild. However, in the meantime, we can help Gazans stay on their feet by sharing and donating to gofundmes such as @handalapls

Mohammed vets the Palestinian fundraisers you see on your dash everyday, and he and his family could do wish all the help they can to survive and keep going.

Consider starting your 2025 early with a promise to help Gazans, you can do things like attend protests, share posts like this, and DONATE. You can do this now, and end this year and go into the new year knowing you're helping others!

Happy new years, everyone, I'm tagging some people under the cut <3

Reblog please🙏🏻‼️

New Year's Eve in Gaza. There is no one left to celebrate 🎄‼️💔

While in past years we celebrated New Year's in the streets and hotels of Gaza, today there are no signs of this left. The Zionists have destroyed everything.Stones and trees have fallen, but strength will not fall from our souls, God willing.

Also, in the year before that in 2022, I spent the New Year with my friends in the UAE and some celebrations in Turkey as well, and life was beautiful and full of joy :

While now we are killed and slaughtered daily and there are no places where we spend Christmas and return to our Christian friends on this happy occasion for them ، We hope that the celebrations this year will bear the slogan of a ceasefire in Gaza, a cease to genocide, and a halt to the killing of children. Yesterday I said goodbye to my cousin, and before that to my friends. The years have become painful memories for us.We now want with all our might to stop this genocide.

Please donate to ayesh family at this giving festival, consider donating even a little. There are many children in the family who should all have had the opportunity to celebrate like the rest of the world. However, as is now, there is very little left to celebrate in Gaza. But the donated money will help because it will provide the children and the rest of the family with basic necessities.

Please reblog 🙏🏻

If your donation is 5 or 10 or 500, I am very happy because you restore hope to my life here despite all the death and suffering that I live in any small amount that can affect my life, and if the year ends, it will be sure that it will end and you are happy, but you helped the people stuck in the death that does not end for a year and three months, and you thus guarantee that you are a human 🙏🏻🫂💔‼️

On the twelvth and last day of Christmas, my best friends gave to me:

1 Olive tree sapling from Beitlahm, 2 Bedouin scabbards, 3 Tulkarm watermelons, 4 Nabulsi soaps, 5 Kaak from Jerusalem, 6 Akkawi cheeses, 7 Yafa oranges, 8 dates from Areeha, 9 Ramallah apricots, 10 Khalili figs, 11 Jenin green almonds, and 12 Ghazzawi strawberries!

Hey guys! While I'm still on hiatus waiting for my physical health to improve, I decided to schedule some posts to remind you all to donate to my lovely friends Mohammed Ayesh and Mohammed El- Shaer. Very often I've been asked here if there was any way to send me money or gifts. If you are one of those people and you have extra to give this holiday season, please don't hesitate to donate to my friends' survival funds! Mohammed Ayesh in particular has been the driving force of our fundraising efforts, and without his work we couldn't have helped hundreds of the Palestinian families on our list!

May we see the liberation of Ghazzah and Palestine in this coming year!

Hi everyone!

@buttercuparry reached out to me after seeing that my Viktor post got some traction, and gave me an idea. As of now, I act as a go-between and call upon artists in the arcane fandom to help.

This is what they told me (please open the pics!)

And this is the link they sent me: https://www.tumblr.com/asoiafpalestine?source=share

Mohammad Ayesh is the on ground vetter for the fundraisers that are in Hussein and Nabulsi's doc and, as previously stated, he is also a healthworker who has to face dangerous situations daily to provide aid. As of now he is struggling with his campaign. He is 20 years old.

If you see this and are interested in the cause, something can definitely be arranged. Right now, because of a variety of reasons, I can't take any more commissions, but it doesn't hurt to share and make this (hopefully) go viral in hopes someone wants to make something out of it.

Please share 🙏🏻

it's difficult for me to understand why donations have slowed down for so many campaigns when, right now, the iof has imposed a blockade. the whole region is suffering famine since aid is so limited (esp in the north) it's awful seeing campaigns struggle, knowing that right now gazans are practically being eaten alive by their own hunger.

the iof isn't just blocking aid of course. they're on the offense too, only increasing their aggression and violence each day. be it hospitals or schools or refugee camps. leaving survivors to relocate, over and over again, having to buy necessities to survive over again, when they'd already struggled a lot getting the money to buy the destroyed tents and food and clothing in the first place!

as if all of this isn't already horrific by itself imagine raising a new born baby during this time. your safety's constantly at risk and you're trying your best to make sure that your bundle of joy, your own flesh and blood is safe from the constant war.

this is literally whats happening to suad ahmed @suad-khaled (#279). she's a computer engineer whose given birth to her son, khaled, and raises him to the best of her ability. but the sky rocketing prices for baby formula, diapers, blankets, clothing, and other essentials have been made it extremely difficult, if not impossible,to give him the care he needs. on top of this, khaled is ill with a chest infection and has trouble breathing!

so please, let's all help her out! how about we help reach the 41K in the next 3 days? $40,271 USD has been raised already, there is only $729 left to go! so please donate and share! you can even match my friend! she's given $5 (which you can see here), but you're more than welcome to give more!

Currently at $40,493 USD!

Please keep donating and sharing! Help us reach the short-term goal of 41K! There is $507 left to go!

$40,508 now!

We've reached the 40.5K, so let's keep the momentum going! Please continue to donate and share! Let's help Suad reach the short-term goal of 41K! There is $492 left to go!

📢 Did You Know⁉️

"Israel Bonds" are unrestricted loans provided directly to the Israeli government, including its military. Residents of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, are demanding their municipality stop investing millions of dollars in these bonds as part of the #BreakTheBonds campaign.

📢 Why This Matters‼️

As a parent living in Gaza, I have witnessed the devastating impact of these investments. My children like so many others are trapped in unimaginable suffering, displaced from their home, and struggling to survive amidst the violence. These bonds fund the destruction that threatens their lives every day.

Please consider supporting my family by donating, sharing our story, or simply spreading the word about this injustice. Together, we can raise awareness, challenge these investments, and give my children a chance at safety and a future. Visit the link in bio to learn how you can help save innocent lives.

Every action makes a difference. Let’s stand for humanity!

It's the final stretch.

[Unfortunately longer posts are being skipped so I've linked to relevant posts where you can hear Mahmoud's own words on these topics.]

Mahmoud @ma7moudgaza2 has gone through a lot. From the destruction of his home to surviving the Al-Shifa massacre to starvation due to the price of flour to struggling to pay tuition fees to be allowed to sit for exams remotely.

Now Mahmoud has decided to leave Gaza.

He has complicated feelings about this as he loves Gaza dearly and parting from his family is difficult, as they have chosen to remain come what may, but he needs to be able to work and continue his education.

Like others who seek to leave Gaza, he faces the problem of being at the mercy of the border, which the occupation and Egypt seem to operate at their cruel whims.

On top of that, the money from Mahmoud's fundraiser is being constantly depleted to make ends meet. In paying for the basic necessities for his family and his brother's family, he is left with little to afford his passage across the border when it opens. His campaign has also been stagnating severely no matter how much he promotes this.

I ask for your generosity in helping Mahmoud overcome this.

[transcripts of the videos (which have been merged in the above upload in the order they were shared in the tweet):

1:

… The amount of risk that journalists in Sudan go through every day just to get information out of Sudan and to other countries is just incredible. The last couple of months, we’ve seen Halima Idris Salim run over by RSF soldiers; we’ve seen journalists being assassinated in their own homes; we’ve seen, just a couple of days ago, Abdelaziz Mahmoud Arja being kidnapped by the RSF for reporting on their genocide against the Masalit tribe. And through all this, we see no solidarity or willingness to protect journalists in Sudan, just radio silence.
And above this as well, we see even MPs trying to defend the UAE like Nadhim Zahawi did two weeks ago, going above and beyond to defend the UAE and the complicity in genocide, and implying that allegations against the UAE supporting the RSF is “Iranian aggression.” And Nadhim Zahawi who used his powers as an MP to pass legislation to recognize the Anfal genocide against the Kurds in Iraq is now going out of his way to defend a complicit party in genocide in Sudan right now. And we might wonder why he goes to such lengths. He was actually a middleman between RedBird IMI and the Barclay family for the potential purchase of the Telegraph by the UAE which just fell…

2:

…, which has been proven by the RSF’s own propaganda videos, that Nimr vehicles have been used by the RSF. MBBA designs anti-aircraft and anti-tank turrets for these Nimr vehicles. These same vehicles with these same turrets are being used against Sudanese, against Africans, in the west in Darfur, being used to kill us, being used to massacre us, and this must be addressed and must be opposed.

3:

… Committees and the emergency rooms on the ground right now, who—to avoid their responsibilities, the Western powers have said that they are “political actors” and will not help them as such, even though we have seen that the UN ran out of Sudan in the first five days of the war. 97% of aid that has been given to Sudanese peoples through the emergency rooms and through the Resistance Committees, and denying, simply closing their eyes and thinking that these are “political actors” is a complete lie. As well as this, the UK must stop caving in to the UAE and not, as it has done, postponed deliberations against the UAE in the United Nations.
Coming back to the media, there is—on both sides of the belligerents, we see lies being propagated by the Kezan and by the RSF. We see channels like…

4:

… was one of the last people to meet with Hemedti just weeks before the war started. And right after the UK went to the UN to try to have the Sudanese complaint against the UAE be heard, RedBird IMI dropped their bid. And Nadhim Zahawi, I guess, had some sort of tantrum about him not being able to enjoy the fruits of the blood of our people. So, we see MPs, more than just Nadhim Zahawi—there’s David Cameron, for example, who led initiatives for the UAE to buy up property here in the UK, which includes this Telegraph bid that I just mentioned—there are many MPs compromised by Emirati interests. We must combat this.

if you are seeing communists talking about syria and confused why we are not happy right now it's got nothing to do with support for assad and everything to do with the fact that the rebels are backed by the us, israel and turkey. i do not mourn assad's regime, but rather the impact of a syria backed by the us and israel, and what that means for the levant - including the golan heights. after all this time how do you not understand what 'us backed intervention' means for a country? it is further devastation for people who have already suffered greatly
