That's not really how it went in our lore. Shamara adopted the bishops to be their allies, using the power of five gods to overcome all others. Shamura was very dedicated to becoming the most powerful god, an urge I will go into in a fanfic that I'll write once my hand heals. Long story short, they saw Narinder become more powerful than them and worried, because when they were more powerful they killed all the other gods to be the only one, and they feared Narinder would do the same, even though really he was just following what he'd been raised his entire life to do. He never had any plans, he was simply following the endless hunger for more that Shamura had imprinted on him. He was raised to climb ladders, and didn't know how to stop.

Either way, Una was so devoted to Narinder, she would have passed it off as lies, even if Shamura said otherwise.

Una was broken by that point. Her family was gone, her species was gone. She had nothing left and wanted nothing more than for everything to be over, to rejoin the lambs in whatever was waiting for her. The unknown was scary, but it would be better than this existence. Then, she met him.

The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Kallamar

GUYS I DID IT OMG!

Thank to everyone who sent me their Kallamar to butcher them mercilessly into this painting. It has been AMAZING to discover how different one character could be interpreted and how each of you made them your very own!

I would have liked to give everyone good space, but I found that fitting 22 of them in, including mine, was a challenge!🤣💙 Maybe I bit more than I could chew.

I really hope I did justice to your Kallamar. I tried to be as accurate as I could, and the colour was picked straight from the reference! (Some were B&W, so I hope I gave them a decent one)

Oh he is right in on that cadaver action! This looks incredible! I can't believe the amount of detail and work you put into this piece of art! Everyone is gorgeous, but maybe that's just a Kallamar thing.

Would you believe me if I told you this was the less horrible version of a comic I made while I was on hiatus?? Don't think I'll ever post that one because it's deranged in a non presentable way, but I thought some of the ideas should still get used. I know canonically shamura knows what they did to the point of traumadumping about it until you kill them, but I mean with their brains all scrambled for 1000 years, there's bound to be some point where they remembered they loved someone more than they remembered why he's gone

I actually....have ANOTHER angst comic I'll probably post the day after tomorrow, I made it in january but it starts during a shamura freakout so maybe it could be a continuation of this? RIP in advance to kallamar
