David said, “In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul” (Psalm 138:3).
In other words, David was saying, “I’ve proven you, God! In all my trials, I turned to no one else. I sought only You and You heard me, answered me, and gave me strength for the battle I was facing.”
“The Lord … hears the prayer of the righteous” (Proverbs 15:29).
These are but a few of the promises given as evidence of God’s care and how He listens to our cry. Our lives would be so much richer and more effective in every way if we would run to Jesus, cry out to Him, and make Him our priority.
“Those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing” (Psalm 34:10). I encourage you to go to your secret place of prayer regularly and seek Him with all your heart.
2 Corinthians 5:20 (ESV). “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”
Matthew 5:16 (ESV). “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Romans 12:4-5 (NLT). “Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.”
“The Book of Books” by In Touch Ministries:
“Through the Bible, God reveals who He is, what He is doing, and how the future will unfold for mankind.”
The Bible provides an accurate account of God’s character, actions, and purposes. Together, the Old and New Testaments teach us that man’s problem is sin and the only remedy is faith in the Son of God: Jesus Christ.
Through His Word, God has entrusted to us the knowledge of who He is, what He is doing, and how the future will unfold for mankind. The Scriptures were intended to lead us into a growing relationship with our heavenly Father and to empower us for fruitful service as Christ’s ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20). In this position, we are called to follow Jesus’ example in glorifying God (Matthew 5:16)—our Savior focused not on Himself but on the Father, whose plan is to reach the entire world with His saving grace.
God’s will includes different tasks for His children to accomplish, according to the way He’s planned for each one to serve (Romans 12:4-6). Meditating on scriptural principles and examples will help us discern what He has in mind for us.

What place does this amazing book—the Bible—have in determining the course of your life? Take time today and every day to listen to the Lord, to partake of His wisdom, and to determine what He is saying to you personally.”

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
We have a divine mission by Jesus Himself, and only the power of the Holy Spirit will enable us to fulfil that. What happened in the upper room? Frail men, who deserted Jesus and were locked up in a room fearing arrest and death, after they were filled with the Holy Spirit stood boldly and preached that Jesus Christ is Lord. As a result, a large number of people were touched, transformed, healed and saved. The church was established. The Holy Spirit enabled ordinary unschooled men and women to do things beyond their natural abilities.
Thank God for His ability to lift us above ourselves. Otherwise where would all of us be? The Holy Spirit is greater than any of our short-comings, failures and complexes. He is able to set us free. He will accomplish through us what we are incapable of accomplishing by ourselves. The issue is, are we available?
1 John 1:9 (ESV). [9] “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Matthew 6:9-13 (NASB1995). [9] “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. [10] Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. [11] Give us this day our daily bread. [12] And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. [13] And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]”
“The God Who Forgives” by In Touch Ministries:
“Regularly seeking forgiveness keeps the pathway of fellowship open.”
“Jesus gave His followers a pattern for prayer that includes seeking forgiveness every day. Regular repentance is not a means of renewing our salvation. Instead, it’s a maintenance plan for our fellowship with God.
When we trust Jesus as our Savior, our sins are forgiven forever—the stains from our past, present, and future wrongs are wiped away. The tendency to sin, however, remains part of the human experience, though its influence decreases the more we’re conformed to Christ’s image.
With the exception of Jesus, no one is perfect. So, while on earth, we will all deal with sin and its consequences. The Lord’s admonition to seek daily forgiveness is a reminder to confess our sins and turn away from them because we are forgiven.
God’s grace is not a license to sin. Instead, it’s a reason to continuously pursue righteousness. Bad attitudes, thoughtless actions, and unkind speech do not fit who we are as new creatures in Christ.
Salvation makes a way for us to enter God’s presence, whereas confession and repentance (1 John 1:9) keep the pathway maintained. The “sinner’s prayer” needs to be said only once, but a saint will tap into God’s forgiveness every day throughout life.”

Deuteronomy 31:8
The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged."
God has promised to never leave us. So every morning when we wake up, we can say, “Thank You, Jesus. I know You were watching over me while I slept. And now as I get ready for the day, I know that wherever I go, You will be with me.”
