John 3:16

@yahwmichael

Trust in God’s timing.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬

In life, things may not always go according to plan, and in all honesty it may lead you to depression or even questioning your value or existence. Sometimes you feel as, “if I fail this…what’s the point of it.” “I don’t want this, am I being selfish?” These are questions I’ve been asking myself recently, ever since I’ve arrived to a country I never had intent on going to. I had a dream, a vision, and I wanted to stay in the home I know. But you, pressure makes diamonds. The lord puts us through tests, and depending how we do, we either become stronger or weaker. I won’t shy from saying that I’ve weaken myself greatly, but now in this time of being lost and simply asking the lord “what’s my purpose” has made me realize the things I truly want to do in this life, and appreciate all the things I’ve had. Coming here, has made me realize my destiny, and although I’m very much can’t make it on my own, I know that the lord shall give me his strength and fulfill the dreams I have 2 Corinthians 9-10. Expect the unexpected, for you never know what the lord will have for you in the end.

If I never post another post. If no-one ever remembers anything I've said these last many years, THIS is the post that matters.

I didn't write this post, Jovelyn Begaso posted it to “Not ashamed of Jesus Christ” (FB), but I hope it is always remembered.

Friend, may God bless your day mightily. And if this post touches you, tell someone. Find a friend, find a church or if there isn't a church nearby, go to an online church and tell them. Tell them as soon as you can. Jesus is waiting to welcome you. Amen! 🙏🕊️🙌

“No one has ever loved you like Jesus. 💔💖 No one ever will.

Think about it—He left heaven’s glory, knowing the agony that awaited Him. He was beaten, mocked, and crowned with thorns. The very hands that formed the universe were pierced with nails. He hung on that cross, struggling for every breath, not for His own sins—He had none—but for **yours** and **mine**. 😔💔

That is **love beyond measure**. That is **grace poured out in blood**. That is the **ultimate sacrifice**.

Why? Because He couldn’t bear to see you lost. Because He wanted **you** with Him forever. Because He loves **you** more than words can express. ❤️

✝️ **"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."** —Romans 5:8 KJV

The cross isn’t just a symbol—it’s proof. **No one has ever loved you more. No one ever will.** 🙌🔥”

From: “Not ashamed of Jesus Christ” (FB)

This really is powerful.

We are so so loved ❤️😭✝️ and Jesus is the Greatest Friend we'll ever have ❤️🙏

funny enough, today I watching clips of the movie Passion of Christ. To remember what exactly happened that day, it’s the best movie to show. As Isaiah wrote:

“Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: so shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52‬:‭13‬-‭15‬

Third John 1:2

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 💕

I pray this is seen by the intended audience.

Folks, you cannot love God and pornography. Your blogs should not have a bible verse proceeding some BDSM garbage. We cannot drink both the poison and the cure and best believe me when I say pornography is a poison. It is a poison of all aspects of your being and it will not grow into something wholesome with time, only give way to more vile evil.

With this said, I understand very well how hard it is to give up; pornography is so understatedly, mockingly perceived as a non-issue by the world today, yet its the world that pornography belongs to, and christian, we are not of this world.

But how do you quit something so powerful? I've heard it said before that "you are only as addicted as you want to be", yet without the Lord how could we hope to break free? I'm not saying it isn't possible to walk away from the stuff - especially when you know that you know better - but how often have we returned?

Truly, we must repent, we must go to the Lord for help and to help ourselves we must make behavioral changes: if your source is tumblr, give tumblr a break, unfollow blogs that feed the habit - block and report them, even - and if you are getting additional supplements from elsewhere (instagram, Facebook, etc), then follow suit. And when eliminating these sources from your life, understand that you can do it in small bursts daily - I know that I had to step away for a bit after dealing with just two or three some days because even in the act of repentance I was still feeling tempted.

You are not alone. God doesn't want you sinning, He wants you to walk with Him. Please change your ways, embrace Jesus and reject porn.

Obedience to God is something we all should WANT to do, yet our still very rebellious nature coupled sometimes with poor or intentionally misleading church leadership will have us seeing the Law as an archaic punishment that Jesus abolished.

Neigh, neigh, I say! While I have a very, very, very, very, very, very, VERY long way to go, I want to know God's law and I want to be obedient to it. I, at least, want to want to be obedient. I praise the Lord even more, then, that all the gospel requires of me is repentance and faith, and both come from the Lord as He seeks and brings in His own.

This fact, though, still has me pondering just why I am so impersonal with my faith. I have the light of Christ in me, He has done MARVELOUS things in my life, so WHYYYYYYY am I not sharing? Many of you are annoyed aware of my on/off worries with this, so I won't say more.

ANYWAY, God is good, He knows what He's doing, and I'm His because of grace by faith in Jesus Christ. May my heart and mind forever shut up from the loss of salvation fears.

The love of God

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭38‬-‭39‬

“O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭7‬:‭24‬-‭25‬

my brothers and sisters, how profound these verses are. Time and time again, Paul makes it clear that by our own merit we’d never make it to heaven. Everyone is guilty, for everyone has failed the law. The law, which brings death. By faith through grace we are saved, and not by are own works. So many people believe that they’d be cast away for falling short. Indeed, what was done is wrong, but that’s why we ask for forgiveness of our sins. However, once saved you are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption, and as the Romans 8:38-39 says-nothing can separate us from him. Glory to the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. To our Heavenly Father who has given us life, and sent his Son. To the one Jesus Christ, who bled and died for us. He who was us with his blood, giving us his righteousness. To the Holy spiritual who guides and protects us on this journey of life, he who sprouts the love of YAH within. Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The one triune God forever and ever.

Let us try and do all of the songs, and yes, one person can reblog multiple times with different lines! Just don't do them all yourself!

The Horse and the Infant, the Troy Saga:

Alright my brothers, listen closely... Tonight we make the Trojans pay...

They're growing old and yet you're still here… Do what I say, and you'll see them again! yes sir!

I know what it's like...

Do you ever feel like you're overwhelmed,?

Or you have too many things going on at once?

That you're sad, but you don't know why?

If you're disappointed in yourself, or someone is disappointed in you even if they aren't?

If you're jealous over other men or women, who have the "perfect" body, hair, eyes, face?...

If you're jealous of other's because of their parents?...

If you're scared to shut your eyes, because you think you'll be lost in a nightmare?...

If you want to cry, but you just can't?...

And most importantly, you feel like the Lord has given up on you?...

I fell like this stuff all the time... And I know everyone else does too... Teenagers, young adults, preteens, everyone. You all think you're alone...

But, just remember one thing... You are NEVER alone... You have your parents, your friends, your family... I know some have people who don't care at all... so...

I am giving you a chance: This, is a safe space. This post, this place... Vent, talk, make friends... Just let it out...

Another thing... The Lord, He loves you so much... God loves you too... We are His children. We are His kin. And from Him we are strong, we are brave, we are courageous, we are tough, we are loved... Yes, you heard me. We. Are. Loved. Because He is the only one that will always keep loving us... He has made others to be there with us when times are hard. He has a purpose for you. He has a plan. You just have to let Him into your heart, and allow Him to hold you... A hand to hold you up, and one to support you through it.

Forgiveness is too important to leave in the hands of god.

In my fundamentalist Christian past, I was taught that we must forgive each other because we are forgiven by god. I was supposed to train forgiveness into myself as an automatic response. Anything else was prideful. What, did I think someone could harm me more than my sins harmed god?

It sounds so hollow and petty to me now. Why should we seek forgiveness by proxy through god? How could we possibly hurt god more than we hurt each other?

Forgiveness is so much more than an imitation of a divine transaction. Forgiveness can be earned through trust and change. Forgiveness can heal harm and repair relationships.

Because forgiveness is so powerful, it should not be automatic or done through a divine proxy. It's a deeply personal process that depends on honest effort.

Forgiveness is such a beautiful Gift from God, and, as a human.. it can also be so hard. I used to think forgiveness was easy. But when faced with the journey myself.. I realized the hard way that it's hard, and that I'm no where near above the struggle. (It was humbling.) I found myself struggling a lot with forgiveness. For a while there was turmoil within me. It's not something I could have done alone, and I'm grateful I never have to.

I tried and failed finding forgiveness in my own strength, without even realizing at first that that was what I was doing. I knew I was desperate to forgive other people for my Savior, but I hadn't realized how vital it is to do it with my Savior- to leave it in His Hands when my own weren't strong enough. I guess I felt bad admitting to God that I hadn't quite reached full forgiveness yet.. But He already knew, He knew every thought of my heart and my every struggle. And the God who faithfully forgives me in His Righteousness was always ready to help me forgive. And what a blessing His Help is!

Because forgiveness is so valuable and important, it's something we need God's help and strength and guidance with. Jesus forgave me perfectly of all my sin, even in His anguish on the cross. What better place to turn for help with forgiveness than leaning on the One who forgives Perfectly?

It was only when finally I cried out to God for help that things suddenly and beautifully shifted. I remember crying out in prayer, confessing that it's hard and I'm struggling, I asked God to forgive me of any unforgiveness I may still have.. and to help me forgive fully, in His Grace. I left my heart in His Hands, trusting Him to bring it to forgiveness. And the forgiveness and peace He embraced me with was beautiful. In that moment God reminded me that It Is Finished, and He flooded my mind with the realization of how beautifully Jesus Blood -His Sacrifice and His Love- covers both the other person's sins and my own. He flooded my heart and mind with peace. By the Holy Spirit's Help I simultaneously forgave the other person and experienced relief from my own guilt I'd been feeling, and it was so healing. Forgiveness is freedom- and whom Jesus the Son of God sets free is free indeed. He freed us through forgiving us, and He frees us of unforgiveness by helping us to forgive one another.

When we attempt to forgive on our own the process of forgiveness gets left between ourselves and the other person, and often starts to depend on the other person's actions or lack thereof. Sometimes to the point that if a person proves to be untrustworthy, forgiveness can suddenly seem impossible.

But in knowing that true forgiveness is between ourselves and God, we are free of other people's actions.

Jesus conquered sin on the cross when He stripped death of its power- in remembering this I realized no one's sin has the authority to make me miserable when I stand in His Victory. Jesus has forgiven me, and in the same beautiful way He has already forgiven them. Seeing the beauty of how His Blood washes and covers their sins as well as mine, and how loved we all are, brought me peacefully to a place of love and forgiveness.

And how powerful it is that the same God who graciously forgives us, helps us to forgive others. He heals our hearts.

A lot of times in the journey to forgiveness a person will face pain, heartache, anger, hurt, even trauma. There are wounds we need to let God soothe. To cast our cares on Him, to give them to Him, for He cares for us and He alone has the Peace to enfold us in.

God is the Father of Mercies who teaches and empowers His children to be merciful, and He is the God of all Comfort who holds and heals and comforts us in all our pain. Forgiveness is a blessing from Him, and in the journey to forgive others.. we need Him.

Forgiveness is far too important to trust in any hands except God's Hands. Christ's are the Hands that bled for me as well as for every person He helps me forgive. His are the Hands that embrace me when the hurt seems impossible to overcome, the Hands that heal every one of our wounds even by His Own wounds. It's when we leave forgiveness in God's Holy Hands, surrendering to Him and asking for help, that what is broken is finally mended, and held in His Hands is where our hearts are warmed and softened to the true forgiveness that can only come by God's Love.

Great testimony sister. We truly battle against principalities, those of which are things we can’t understand at times. However, that’s why we’re told this:

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬
