huh it is weird how purple is so often used in video games for stuff like corruption or dark magic or whatever
Makes a lot of sense actually:
- Purple barely occurs in nature
- is a good contrast color that stands out in most environments and as such can overtake them
- It is dark enough to benefit from the evil = black association, but is much easier to work with than black and gray in animation
- It mixes blue, “good“ and red, “evil“ together (while still being vibrant if you want it to be, mixing green and red as an alternative wouldn’t work bc you just end up with brown)
- associated with royalty and as such with power, and corruption through power
- green as a poison color doesn’t work for a lot of games bc green is already associated with health, so you need something else
- It fucking slaps

Have you ever looked closely at a car windshield?
The edge of the glass is painted where it is glued to the car but it has these small dots between the clear and painted glass.
These are there for a reason. When the sun hits the glass the painted areas and the clear areas will absorb heat at different rates. This causes the glass to expand and contract differently putting stress on the glass.
These dots help the glass to warm up more evenly over a larger area so the glass does not suffer stress that could cause it to spontaneously explode.
Fun fact: the Tesla cybertruck doesn’t have these.
Yes, the glass will spontaneously crack or explode in the sun.

In the second Part of the Alt Series here is when he got his name. The original series has Liwanu as his name since they are wildly different characters. Lol
After being reunited with your baby, Ahiga is desperate for you to move in with him now. He can protect you both so well! He will make sure that no one ever hurts either of you ever again! Of course you know that with your ex “out of the way”, there really isn’t anyone with the motive to take your daughter (right?), but you are still a little paranoid, but you can’t help but want to stay closer to your parents now more than ever.
However, even your parents reluctantly agree that it might be safer for you to move in with Ahiga. There’s no way that any human would risk messing with him, especially not when he lives so close to a Pack House (aka, his family home where almost everyone else in his family lives). Plus, being that close to a Pack House would mean even more wolves to catch someone if anything did happen. With Ahiga claiming your baby as his pup, his whole family considers her as such and is very protective of her as well. After all, she’s the first grand baby to his parents, and the first niece or nephew to all his siblings (your best friend/his sister loves this by the way).
You end up moving in with him a few months later and Ahiga is ecstatic. He set up another nursery at his house the day you agreed to move in so that way there was still one at your parents’, just in case. When you came over and saw how “human baby friendly” he tried to make it, you couldn’t help but smile. He baby proofed the entire house (even the toilet). Obviously he watched a lot of videos online to figure out what the hell to do.
He is just the best dad. He finally goes back to work but changes his schedule around so that way always you or him are home with the baby (he’s terrified of her being in daycare now). Just, peak dad material. Your daughter barking is now only getting worse though since she’s basically surrounded by werewolves all the time since his family is just as obsessed with her as he is.

Cory Booker has been talking in the senate for over 20 hours now
He’s not filibustering. He’s protesting the current administration.
For those of you from outside the US or those of you who didn’t pay attention in government class, in the US senate there’s really no limit to the amount of time a senator can speak. So sometimes if they don’t want a bill to pass they just. Don’t stop talking. To hopefully get past the deadline to vote on a bill. This is called filibustering.
Senator Cory Booker isn’t doing that. He’s disrupting “the normal business of the United States Senate for as long as I am physically able”. Just in protest. This doesn’t usually happen.
He’s less than 20 minutes away from breaking the record of the longest speech given on the senate floor
Cory Booker has officially broken Strom Thurmond’s record for longest speech on the senate floor and he’s still going
For those of you wondering what he’s been talking about this whole time, his staff wrote down a bunch of stuff for him to read like stories from people across the political spectrum opposed to what the administration is doing. He’s also been telling personal anecdotes about meeting important civil rights leaders and other democratic senators have been pausing him for “questions” but the questions have been as long as a small speech and have both served the purpose of giving him a second to sit down and updating him on the news that he’s been missing while he’s been talking.
He has yielded the floor at 25 hrs and 4 mins. His eyes are so wide they look like they’re going to bug out of his skull so I don’t blame him for stopping. He said to go out and get in some good trouble.
Addition for those unaware: Cory Booker is black. Strom Thurmond set the previous record about 70 years ago in protest of civil rights. Booker spent much of the time I was watching talking about the importance of working together for the people and the idea that it's not "left versus right but right versus wrong."
The new record speech is on the right side of history.
