The commercial MTV's news service reported late on Wednesday evening that Finnish authorities have seized assets of Russians nationals under EU sanction totaling around 189 million euros.

At the beginning of summer, it was estimated that Finnish authorities had seized approximately 80 million euros worth of Russian assets.

According to Finland's National Enforcement Authority the seizures have targeted dozens of entities on the EU's sanctions list, including both private individuals and legal entities. More than 100 temporary or permanent confiscations of assets were registered.

MTV reported that the actions encompass a wide range of assets. They include a large number of intangible assets, such as receivables, shares and funds held in bank accounts as well as real estate, various industrial raw materials and transport items.

Citing confidentiality regulations, the National Enforcement Authority has declined to release details about the assets seized or persons from whom property has been confiscated.
