The industry federation, as well as the Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff (YTN) and the Association of IT Sector Employees, all agreed on Wednesday evening to a settlement proposal drawn up by National Conciliator Esa Lonka.
The labour organisations announced an immediate end to an overtime ban in the IT services sector as well as a ban on work-related travel during employees' free time.
The two sides agreed to a two-year contract based on the national framework agreement worked out last month. Salary settlements are to be hammered out on a company-by-company basis.
"The solution is satisfactory, taking the situation into account," said Juha Reinisalo, chair of the Association of IT Sector Employees.
The job action, which began on Monday morning, affected firms such as Tieto, Logica and IBM.
