Easter return traffic is expected to be at its busiest on Monday, according to traffic management agency Fintraffic.

Fintraffic estimates that return traffic will peak between noon and 8pm, highlighting potential congestion on roads in southern Finland.

According to the weather forecast, the rain area currently over southern Finland is expected to gradually move eastward during Monday afternoon. Elsewhere in the country, conditions are largely clear and dry.

Fintraffic is urging drivers to stay alert, as spring weather can shift quickly and many roads are in poor condition after the winter season.
