“I will make love to him, do not worry about that,” said Chisora.
“That’s disturbing,” interjected Helenius.
“It might be disturbing but you know what? Where we come from in north London, we don’t mind. I will make love to you,” promised Chisora.
Romantic intentions aside, the bout is eagerly anticipated by Finland’s fight fans. Helenius has knocked out three former world champions, but Chisora is dismissive of their pedigree.
“They think he’s made the level because he’s beaten Samuel Peter. Who is Samuel? He would have sold his mother for a pound.”
Much of Chisora’s show should be taken with a pinch of salt – Helenius is the clear favourite, and the pre-fight trash talking is aimed more at selling tickets than predicting the outcome.
Finnish fans are expecting a resounding Helenius win, and the 27-year-old says he is fully prepared to provide one.
“Of course I am ready. I was born ready.”
