Major Snuff Smuggling Trial Begins

Finland's largest snuff trial begins on Monday in Pietarsaari, in western Finland.

Three men are accused of smuggling, aggravated tax fraud, and selling illegal tobacco products. Police say they believe the men brought nearly three million euros worth of snuff to Finland from Sweden between the years 2001 and 2006.

In addition, seven kiosk and service stations in the region of Ostrobothnia are accused of reselling the snuff.
