The couple will attend a welcome reception Saturday evening organised by the city of Naantali as well as a concert performance as part of the Naantali Music Festival.

Next Tuesday the Presidential couple will formally open a sculpture exhibition featuring works by sculptor Pirkko Nukari.

Kultaranta is located on Luonnonmaa, an island southwest of the city of Naantali. The 54-hectare estate includes a number of parks, and conservatories and has been the summer residence of Finnish presidents since 1922.

The President usually spends the summer period from early June to August in the residence.  Additionally, about 18,000 sightseers visit the location annually.
