When Nokia announced its intention to sell off its Devices and Services Division to Microsoft last autumn, it estimated that the deal would be concluded by the end of March.

The company announced Monday however that the deal would be finalised during April.

The transaction still requires a green light from competition authorities in Asia, as well as the fulfillment of other standard commercial conditions. However the deal has already received most of the required regulatory approvals.
