Ex-Nokia designer: Finland's start-ups need to be less scared of failure
Last week Microsoft employees in Finland were dealt another blow, with the announcement that up to 2,300 jobs will go from the former Nokia plant in Salo. If there is any positive aspect to the decline of Nokia, it’s been the growth of many tech start ups founded by ex-employees, often with state funding. But on Tuesday’s Päivän Kasvo - or Face of the Day - programme, we speak to one entrepreneur and former Nokia worker who claims the government's strategy may actually be holding the country back.
