All Points North catches a ride on Finland's newest tramline and learns how the pandemic is still impacting commuting. We also ask if the capital region could have free public transport.

"If we want more people to ride public transport, then the best way to do that is to make the services better...from Tallinn we're also seeing that the volume of car traffic has not gone down after this [the city made it free]," Johannes Laitila, a spokesperson for Helsinki Region Transport (HSL).
In Strasbourg, the show also catches up with Finnish members of the European Parliament about Ukraine's prospects for EU membership.
"I think Finland has a bit of a common history with Ukraine in the sense that Russia feels that we are at least partly in their imperial sphere. It's important that countries that want to join the EU are taken on board," said MEP Ville Niinistö (European Greens) on the prospect of EU membership for Ukraine.
