Leos Hoplop, a chain of indoor playgrounds, has announced it is closing five of its parks and reducing its staff in Finland by 70 employees.

The branches closing include Leo's Turku, Hoplop Vantaanportti, Hoplop Lohja, Hoplop Tampere Linnainmaa, and Hoplop Pirkkala, with their final day of operation on 10 November, according to the company.

In September, the firm announced that it was initiating restructuring talks with employee representatives to address "unsustainable conditions" due to rising inflation and significant rent increases.

The company currently operates 22 Hoplop and Leo's Leikkimaa indoor play parks across Finland.

Leos Hoplop is a branch of the Sweden-based indoor playground chain Leo's Lekland, which also has locations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany.
