Harry is dying. Harry is not sure he wants to die.
(Ron, Hermione, and Sirius are pretty adamant they don't want him to, so he supposes he has to go along with that.)He needs to blood of his father - and isn't that just a little too close to the end of his 4th year, but Harry's life is made of painful parallels. Like the fact that he needs to find the father who doesn't know he exists, and he never wanted to meet, so that he doesn't die.
But on the plus side, Ron said he would rip his father apart and Hermione said she would poison him, should he not decide to help Harry.
So, Harry leaves Britain and goes all the way to Gotham City in New Jersey (his father is American, bloody hell) to find his father, one Richard Grayson.
It ends up being a lot more complicated than he thought it would be. Because of course it is.
