App design is an evolving space and it seems a lot of publishers are recognising the importance of having a good design. The best part of the evolution is the companies that are springing up to make the journey to great app design easier. One of such companies that promises to make that journey easier is Pixate and I have been following their progress since the launch on Kickstarter a while back.

題名の通りiPhoneのUIをCSSでデザインできるPixateが7月1日より無料になったのでどんなものかと思い使ってみました。 一言でいうと『これはすごい』につきますね。 導入 Pixateのホームページの右上のダウンロードに行くと名前、メールアドレス、電話番号(オプション)、会社名(オプション)、プレミアムサポートを受けるかのチェック、アップデートやニュースをメールで受け取るかのチェック、住所を入力するだけの簡単な登録を行います。 上の登録を済ませると登録したメールアドレスにライセンス情報とダウンロードリンクが付いたメールが届きますのでダウンロードします。 ダウンロードしたファイルを解凍してどこか自分で決めている位置などに置きましょう。 「Use Automatic Reference Counting」にチェックを入れたプロジェクトを新しく作ります。(すでに存在するプロジェクトに使う
なかなか使い勝手のいいpixaeですがGetting Startedに リアルタイム更新のためのビデオチュートリアルがリンクされていました。 Pixate Real Time CSS - YouTube 注意 動画ではdelegateファイルに #import <PXEngine/PXStyleSheet.h>足して application:didFinishLaunchingWithOptionsに [PXStylesheet currentApplicationStylesheet].monitorChanges = YES;追加せよってなってますが、 Pixate Ver1.0.3では動きません。 Pixate Ver1.0.3でのやり方 headerファイルを漁って見ると PXEngine.hに + (PXStylesheet *)currentApplicationStylesh
