Having your configuration in org-mode has some benefits and some drawbacks. It adds a layer of abstraction between me and my init.el file, is it worth it? The main drawback is that it can happen that the org-mode file has a mistake and tangles an incorrect init.el file. In that case you can’t use your nice bindings but you are thrown in barebones emacs and you have to C-x C-f your way to the init.
