Well besides nuclear power that’ll take 15+ years to build and double power prices, he also is a big fucking racist who wants to cut immigration but that’ll cost the economy $34 billion and lead to a skill shortage.
His idea for housing is to allow people to access their super which has multiple problems in that it a) does not reduce housing costs but actually drives them up (a recent report estimated it’d drive housing prices up an average of $75,000) b) it costs the budget money because of lost tax revenue and c) robs many people of our generation of vital retirement funds, causing a greater reliance on the pension, which the Liberals have historically not been fans of increasing because “low government spending” often means spending cuts to services.
Of course he doesn’t want housing to be more affordable because most of his money he’s made in his life are from the millions upon millions of dollars he’s made buying and selling real estate. Being a politician is actually just a secondary source of income to his main business: having a property portfolio.
Oh, and he thinks it’s “divisive” to be inclusive and doesn’t want to stand in front of the Aboriginal flag.
He’s a racist idiot whose policies will literally just drive prices up and make us poorer. He does not want to make your life better or easier and none of his ideas are backed by economists. His strategy is so blatantly just an attempt to rile up xenophobia and attack poor people, immigrants, and people of colour to win over through fear and division.
He is a bad man whose policies are bad for the economy and bad for our society.
This is the kind of thing we need to get out there. People need to understand that the Coalition's promises are all smoke and mirrors. They don't have a good plan - they just want to be different to Labor's to have something to fight over.
You won't be able to get ALL the detail into every conversation but make sure you drop in whenever you can to discussions with friends, family, others, etc, at the very least a comment along the lines of "Dutton's only got a handful of ideas and all of them will drive up the cost of living" or "Good thing Labor's fixing the economy. It always goes to shit under the Coalition."
Create and reinforce that association that Coalition = bad economy again and again. Whenever you can. Stats, articles, and lengthy discussions help explain that and get people to believe it - but so does casually saying it over and over to give people a negative impression of the Coalition.
I do think with news of the ceasefire, everyone should read up on what the ceasefire actually means and what the different phases of the ceasefire are. here's a good source for what we know as of now:

- this ceasefire is temporary (as of right now, six weeks long). negotiations will continue but israel is not offering guarantees about continued non-violence. BDS remains important. be vigilant, keep pressure up
- rafah crossing will open one week after the initial phase starts
- israel will release 2000 prisoners
- more aid will get to northern gaza, look out for ways you can help
- if the second phase is initiated, israel will do a complete withdrawal from gaza. which means the initial phase will not include that. again i say: BE VIGILANT
- if the third phase is reached, reconstruction will begin "under international supervision"
- nothing is over, even if this is a relief. do not tape out, do not tune out.

Life here in Gaza is very difficult and we become more hopeless by the day. My husband and I had just started to build our lives together. We had a nice home where we had planned to start our family, and now we are subjected to living in a tent where there is no bathroom and we spend our nights just trying to get warm. It has been difficult being pregnant and not having a bathroom or even a bed to sleep on, but I want my child more than anything. The only hope we have left is in our baby and I am asking you to stand with us. Please, help us in any way you can to save our child. We feel very alone and abandoned, but we are determined to live and we want to see our child be one of the miracles that comes out of Gaza.
