Sirius shares his star dome with James for a date.

“Wow that’s bright,” James states as he looks down at the star dome that is meant to show the stars on the ceiling. Some kind of muggle contraption that would allow them to see the night sky from any location, any time of year, and any way they want. They just have to adjust accordingly.
“That’s because you’re not supposed to look down at it, but up at the ceiling to see the night sky stars shine like they’re meant to shine,” Sirius states, as he lays back on the floor of James’ bedroom. “Amazing, isn’t it?”
James rolls his eyes, but follows suit, and sure enough, finds himself rather amazed. They’ve studied astronomy for years, but this is … far more amazing. The sky didn’t always work for their needs, and didn’t show nearly as many stars and constellations, but this dome showed everything.
“It really is,” James agrees.
Sirius gives him a grin. “I like to make up my own stories for the stars – wanna hear some?”
James grins. “I’d love to hear anything that you want to share with me.”
“Good, so…”
