A nicely informative documentary! As a BIG fan of horror, I'm interested in lots of different aspects of the genre, but I can't think of another documentary I've seen that digs into the Black connection to and experience with it. The time flew by though - it could easily have been an hour longer or maybe even been a limited series with five or six episodes. I found this to be pretty solid and mostly enjoyable, though nothing especially out of the ordinary. Good performances for the most part and I did find myself questioning/wondering what was happening for awhile. I did like the way the identities of Grandpappy and his grandson was kept unclear for a lot of the film, but I also very much appreciated the fact that there was a solid answer by the end of the film (I hate when things like that are left unresolved).

    Worth a watch!
