Small Things Like These 2024
A bit of a strange film. Cillian Murphy is fantastic, but no part of the story really has a meaningful enough impact on the next, apart from a flashback scene towards the end. I need to read the novella, as I’m sure that it will offer a tad more than this.

This was a bit of a mess to say the least. I liked the overall tone of the first act, even if it moved too quickly to really say anything substantial. Beautifully shot and expertly conveyed. This works on every level. The film thrives off of a number of elements, but none more so than sheer relatability.
