  They just hate to see a girlbot winning.

  Well-paced and endearingly funny, this film dove headfirst into the psyche behind misogyny and incel culture (of course his name is Josh), and I am SO here for it.

  Thatcher’s performance was stellar as usual, and Quaid’s capacity for assholery is on par with Reynor’s in Midsommar. I really liked how the sci-fi aspect of this film served to further the overall concept of the ‘subservient housewife’ trope, because god forbid a girl is more than a sex doll
