  For a movie from 1933, I had a few good chuckles. Yeah, chuckles. 😆

  I think this film did a good job parodying societal norms, but overall, these ideas wouldn’t stick today, like most slapstick comedies. The depiction of men being physically and emotionally dominated by their wives as the heart of many jokes is definitely a comment on how bizarre it might’ve seemed back then, but the idea of gender-based violence hit me first after Hardy got smacked on…

  read a comment on a youtube, where they had a modern indie song playing over the last scene of this film. 

  and the comment said to go watch the movie. 
  what a little scavenger hunt that was, had to go torrent this from my local russias dispensary, to find the english dub of this as i couldn’t find a good quality version with good audio anywhere. 

  themes in this film was deffs for adults but played out by kids which was abit weird but this the story was brilliant. so heart broken.

  sound track for this was 10/10
