  Edit: I found out after watching this that generative AI was used for the main cast's Hungarian dialogue and to create the architecture. That's terrible practice and lame as fuck with what the film is trying to present. I am deducting half a star.

  One of the most technically impressive films I've seen, with its incredible visuals, an amazing score, fantastic pacing, and great performances from Adrien Brody and Guy Pearce.

  All of which is unfortunately soured by the terrible…

  I tried to watch this without considering all the controversy surrounding it. I don't care if it's "woke" or "not woke", I dislike the French all the same. All that matters is if it sucks or not.

  Brother, this one's a real stinker. I think I liked 1 or 2 of the songs, not the sex change one. Zoe Saldaña's performance was good, I really don't think she was amazing.

  Never let Audiard cook again, especially if he wants make a movie involving other cultures.
