I wanted to be lit and cool and make fun of this movie but this 2024 I wish to be more honest and so I have to say guys this made me cry at the end in the scene with his mother. I know this isn’t a cryable movie and it’s meant to be silly and goofy and they just needed a happy full circle ending to be family friendly ish but I it just really hit soemthing about that…

Beau Is Afraid 2023
Beautiful film everything about this is perfect. Very heavy ideas and highly disturbing moments, would recommend looking away during paint bucket scene. The entire cinema was silent after credits started playing bc the ending was just beaut but kinda shocking, and we did have to buy someone an Uber cause they felt quite sick after watching this and they supposedly couldn’t ride the bus bc of that, BUT I think overall it was pre litty and has some very very fun and lolzy scenes. 10 stars if I could.
