I think this movie was actually ahead of its time. Here is my analysis:
Ryan Gosling believes that he is a sigma gooner, and that his brother was a beta coomer. Their mom represents crippling porn addiction (family therapy) which encourages being a coomer and looks down on the gooner. The police officer represents the alpha moderator of r/nofap, ultimately giving him supernatural powers (ability to teleport, a sixth sense, and transmit images of himself in the minds of others)…
