  This is a review for the entire show, not this episode, because I just watched the season finale and the show is now over forever.   Kore-eda has my heart wrapped around his tender, camera-wielding fingers once again. What I wouldn’t give to see the world — and especially other people — through his eyes. 

  Maborosi is exactly my kind of movie; extremely interesting music, stunning cinematography, fascinating characters. We see someone who has experienced incomprehensible loss come to be surrounded by a beautiful community, one that helps her ever-so-slowly heal and keep getting out of bed each day.
