  An intense film and powerful reminder. How many people would have stopped this summer to think of America’s nuclear history if weren’t for this movie?

  I’m glad it was three hours long. Cillian Murphy was perfect for Oppie. He and the movie gave—in Harry S Truman’s words—the “crybaby scientist” a great depth that I’m sure translated well from the biography. Emily Blunt killed it as well. And +1 for Florence Pugh, and plus another for the gentleman who played Albert…
