This might be the most harrowing film I've seen. The combination of animation, drawn sketches, and stop-motion worked together in a really effective way. I liked the idea of showing a big thing like a nuclear bomb within a small-scale story of just two people in their home. This brings up a lot of discussion about preparedness, paranoia, speculation, misinformation, and how much trust to put in your government during times of emergency. I never want to watch this film again, but it was very well made.

Beautiful lighting and camera work. Loved getting to spend so much time with a character, nothing felt rushed but also nothing felt slow

Unlike Sweet Home Alabama, this movie convinced me there are circumstances where you wouldn’t pick Patrick Dempsey every time
