Scanners 1981
Kind of a casual little viewing with friends, but I gotta say I liked it more than I remembered. One of Cronenbergs biggest strengths is his confidence as a director, where despite his worlds being so strange they’re delivered with such confidence that you’re never really left to question its legitimacy, it just is as it is. Despite not really grasping what all was going on I found myself deeply immersed in the story and the world, and the ending was a lot better than I remembered. All in all, very cool movie.

The ex presidents is such a cool but annoying idea, I would be pissed if I got robbed at gun point and they just start doing a lame bit at me.
