Put this off for 20 years because of all the bad reviews, but it was on Tubi so I decided to finally see for myself. And really, I couldโve put this off for longer. Much much longer. Boogeymanย is just as bad as I heard.
Best part of the whole movie was toward the end when thereโs a closeup of a nail slowly coming out of a piece of wood, and it sounds like a long fart. Because thatโs what this was. A long, loud fart.
Dragon Fury 2ย is pretty damn near top tier โso bad itโs goodโ material. Itโs got a lot of issues, but they only make this a hell of a fun time to watch. Like seeing the mat a stunt person drops onto when they dive off a balcony. Or when you can clearly see the trampoline the hero uses to do a flip during a sword fight scene. But what really tops it all is Mike Norris as the villain. Heโsโฆ
Damn... that was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It's not only a great Godzilla movie, but a great movie all around. It's got everything... it's got heart, action, humor, an engaging story with characters you actually care about, & incredible special FX. The first time we hear the Godzilla theme as he walks slowly into the city, I had chills. I'm talking my goosebumps had goosebumps! This is one I can't wait to get into my collection!
Not badโฆ not great but not bad at all. The first half of The Gorgeย is the best part. Itโs a touching romance story between 2 people separated by an impassable physical barrier, & their only means of communication is writing signs that they can read with binoculars. Thereโs very little spoken dialogue, and without even being able to physically interact, Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller have a great chemistry.ย
But then the second half hits and the filmโs tone changes dramatically.โฆ
