Why was this chosen for 2001?
I always try to include a documentary - and this one 1) sounded great and 2) won the Academy Award that year for best feature documentary.
Really hard not to like this one. If you’re a fan of true crime or courtroom style documentaries, this is the movie for you.

Movies like this are a dime a dozen and I feel like I’ve seen this or something very similar to this type of movie 100 times. Drug dealers, owed debts and violence - not particularly original.
