    More frustrating than disappointing. A great premise and great lead performance watered down with too much dialogue and an awkward pace that was impossible to settle into. I understand trusting a good filmmaker to have final edit but I really feel this could’ve been improved drastically with a shorter run time. Still love Bong but some baffling decisions in this one

    Beautifully shot and lit in neon, always toeing the line of reality and dream. It’s told in such a surreal and abstract way that you can just feel is so deeply personal and true to the artist making it, and even though I wouldn’t say I exactly connected with it, I was moved and incredibly empathetic for it. Very good and very heartbreaking
