Ever since my grandfather showed me this as a young kid, I’ve always had a soft spot for it. But the thing is, it’s legitimately great. You can appreciate this 90’s classic for multiple reasons- a sci fi blockbuster, a satire of fascism, and the glorification of violence in media/propaganda. I don’t think Paul Verhoeven gets enough respect- Robocop, Total Recall, and Starship Troopers are all incredible.Translated from by
