    Tommy Lee Jones is just magnificent even only five minutes into his performance, and in one of the cat-and-mouse greats, every cat needs an equally cunning mouse, and Ford does not disappoint. It’s set apart by not just being a thrilling chase of twists and turns but also by showing another side to the protagonist, that hospital scene with the kid is actually a really touching detail. “How the hell could he tell that by looking at his face” hahahahahaha brilliant.

    On a technical level this was astounding, top tier world building, unbelievable scale with absolutely staggering visuals topped off with another epic soundtrack from Zimmer. My ears were left ringing from the overwhelming and incredible audio, and my jaw was wide open and action scenes that I refreshingly felt a huge sense of peril for, seeing it in iMAX got the adrenaline flowing. It only suffers from exposition-itis, but I see it as a necessity for adapting the source material, and for being a bit too bold for its own good, but it gives it a damn good try.
