Noticed a few more little things this time around which I didn’t notice previously.
1 being the conversation at the dinner table as Mia is on a date with Greg. They’re talking about theatre being too loud and disgusting etc.
Another one was as Mia leaves the callback in the leather jacket and the shirt. As she leaves, 2 more women can be seen in the background walking into the building she just left and they’re wearing the same thing.…

Visually great as always but I still don’t know what happened until the last 5 minutes. I also fell asleep for 10 minutes so maybe that didn’t help.

Whiplash 2014
This film gets better every time I watch it I stg. Absolutely perfect.
Like just so many things that just make me smile in either a narrative sense or some cinematography way. Like I love the little zooms it does on Andrew’s face every time something good happens to him like getting into the top orchestra and when he gets offered the JVC spot.
Also, I will forever love the way he shouts “fuck you” at Johnny Utah as he leaves to get his sticks. I love it so much.

I would like to start this by saying that my views on Hereditary have changed as these are basically the same film.
OKAY my main take away from these films is that I DO NOT LIKE THESE. I’ve spent 90 minutes being edged by a panic attack and I just don’t like it. Now, my rating and review is coming from someone who doesn’t like these films. This is a very opinion based review.
