    Acting in this ranges from good to extremely good. The single take structure has a really cool immersive effect and is very thrilling in how technically impressive it is.

    It's a political show. The creators want to show it in schools and parliament (Keir Starmer agrees) and ban social media for under-16s. As such, it should be heavily judged on its politics, much more than other shows.

    I'm surprised the ending worked for me, but it did. Clever subversion I guess.

    was curious to see this, the first global success of the Chinese filmmaking industry. Biggest non-English movie ever, tenth-highest grossing film ever period. Watched on IMAX

    Quite good. Some really cool and impressive visuals. I went into this trying to find differences with Western animation, but past the superficial aesthetic and worldbuilding choices, the plot is extremely Western/postmodern, almost ridiculously so.

    A revelation.
    Groundhog Day on crack. And acid. And everything in between.
    Still trying to make sense of all its twists and turns. Catches you off guard at every corner. The speed. The flowery, hilarious translation. I can't praise it enough. Might've literally changed my life.

    Edit: Sadly the sensation faded so it didn't change my life :(. Maybe could've meditated on it a bit.
