The lack of vision from the oligarch in this movie is disturbing. And look, I’ve never colonized a country, let alone a planet, so I might not be an expert or anything on the subject. BUT I personally would have picked somewhere with bountiful natural resources for a booming export economy and a nicer climate to promote tourism. Then clone your workers to set up a little to no cost labor force. Bada bing bada boom, I’ve created the next Dubai.

Little Miss Sunshine 2006
You never learn if Olive wins the The Little Miss Sunshine Pageant. Kind of annoying, with that being the entire point of the movie, and all. The filmmakers must have wanted to leave this up to the audience’s interpretation (which I am not a fan of).
Main reason this gets 4.5 and not 5 is a Nietzsche super fan would NOT want to join the U.S. Military. Trust me, I was a philosophy minor.

Glinda (nepo baby) and Elphaba (also nepo baby, but the neglected kind) don’t have much in common. One is an outcast, the other is popular; one is green, the other is Ariana Grande. They still manage to become friends until the going gets tough.
Side note: Two teenage girls, Elphaba and Dorothy, independently and easily managed to discover that Oz is a fraudulent wizard. It amazes me that he is still in power with such sloppy mismanagement of his stratagem.
