  Sorry to say there's almost nothing here. Narration is almost always a massive turnoff for me, and using it to tell us what a feisty girlboss our proto-Éowyn heroine is before she gets a chance to show it herself had me offside from the get-go.   I'm very much outside the absurdist lulzrandom enjoyer camp, but while the massive This Is Jinsy vibes were initially off-putting I was won over by the aggressively funny dialogue and impeccable performances. As shockingly concentrated as its bubble tea and mojitos, this is comedy at breakneck speed, somehow both way too fast yet also perfectly timed. Just constant shotgun blasts of jokes.

Like I've got half a thesis worth of notes about the tension in chasing "realism" in a movie musical about an enchanted mermaid: lyrics referencing fish playing musical instruments, a flight of fancy no longer permissible; photorealistic Flounder all stiff and awkward, but cartoonish Sebastian sticking out amongst his inexpressive comrades; an awful rap break like it's 2003; the Goofy-Pluto dilemma extended to the entire animal kingdom.…
