I didn’t know anything about this film going into it and wow there was a lot of death. I really enjoyed the cinematography, there were some insane shots; Scorsese successfully puts a modern twist on old western films. I was left wanting to know more about the Osage and will probably read the book. Overall it was a heartbreaking story, but at least Leo got spanked.
Wow. Just wow. Extremely well made and a beautiful, emotional story; this movie deserves all the credit it gets.
I’ve decided to make my debut in the Letterboxd community with none other than Damien Chazelle’s La La Land. With my first experience watching this film, I found the story difficult to follow and ended up stopping halfway through. But this time around, I made it to the ending and it made all the difference.
