I really enjoy watching a movie that’s just about people navigating their lives and dealing with very real situations. Andrew Garfield is of course phenomenal in every role he’s given.

I’m also a sucker for non-linear story telling so I especially enjoyed that aspect, but I also enjoyed seeing how the counting of time appears in many ways throughout the movie. This is obviously a metaphor, but it also works with the non-linearity of it all to give substance to the “We Live in Time” title, which was a very thoughtful choice.

Cool details on the second watch for sure. Such interesting story-telling and foreshadowing.

Usually when I watch sequels, I try to not let my hopes get too high, but I was so hyped for this movie and it definitely delivered!

They took the classic murder mystery and turned it on its head like a knives out movie does, but then turned THAT on its heads, giving unexpected twists that no one could have seen coming! (Except maybe Benoit Blanc)

As per usual, I’m a sucker for movies that scatter minor details throughout the movie that come back to play an important role later, and this movie, just like the original, does a great job at that

I’m so glad that I rewatched this movie because I had no idea how many details I had missed the last time I watched it.

Such a creative idea AND story plot. It all ties back together, it has beautiful effects, lots of emotion, really cool mechanics, and provides you with the perfect amount of confusion and mind-fuckery throughout. There were also lots of subtle and easily-undetected details that come back later, which I’m a big sucker for.
