this movie was.......... fine? honestly it feels like there's a much more interesting movie grafted onto the side of this one because her gay brother who was on track to become an olympic athlete and then got forced to work at the family fruitcake business??? i want to know more about that guy and i desperately don't care that much about my fiftieth time seeing "big city slicker learns the true meaning of christmas" as i care about this gay…

aside from the fact that i am afraid of butterflies and butterflies are a Motif™ in this movie, this was great. i would rate it 5 stars but i simply personally think that they should have just had to suck it up and not have magic. it's a children's movie though so like. i forgive them.
also all the songs are catchy as hell and i have them all stuck in my head now.
