Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy 2025
This movie is the first bridget jones movie I have ever watched which is highkey crazy as fuck but oh wow. Bridget jones I was not familiar with your game.
I went in expecting a silly and surface level movie but damn was I wrong. If anything this film reminded me of how lonely it feels to process grief, overcome insecurity and get back on your feet. Theres nothing that prepares you for any of those processes, and how they can test your confidence and even your relationship with your beliefs/faith.
Fun! Sad! Happy! Need to watch all the other movies.

Moments of this felt unpredictable and unnerving but once the mystery was solved I was longing for more shock and revenge. Not sure if the suspense was worth the pay off.

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
I’ll think about this movie for years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen something that depicts dysphoria and the battle between perceived safety and happiness vs the uncertainty and shame of the most authentic parts of yourself. Idek how to sum it up in a way that will do it justice.
