Some fun action and music, but felt a little repetitive after awhile. I was never into the fast and furious movies.   There’s only so many chase sequences you can do. The best scene was when he was out of the car and just running from the cops. I do like the editing choices, felt like a true ride along.

    One really long music video

Jamie Fox and Jon Hamm both felt like odd choices.

If this was supposed to be in ATL, a lot more scenes would have been in the suburbs or stuck in traffic.

A little too ludicrous in its satire. Where parasite is subtle and nuanced in its social critique, this painfully obvious almost too a fault. It loses its impact and feels just like a comedic bit. At times it felt very Guardians of the Galaxy. The bad guys, while funny, were too over the top evil, Austin Powers-esq. Didn’t feel realistic. If it’s loses its believe-ability, it’s not nearly as impactful, i.e. becoming a marvel movie. I can appreciate a more…

A sweet story about making movies and telling stories from a kid who’s suffered pretty typical American childhood heartbreak. Lots of nostalgia and special moments. Good directing. Less good writing. No real plot line. No climax. That’s ok. Feels more like a biopic at times. About a half hour too long.

I’m usually pretty against most catholic conspiracy stories, but this was less conspiracy and more petty bureaucracy. The subtleties of slight pauses, glances and sighs are on high impact. Great character work by all involved. The final final twist was out there. I didn’t hate it but I’m not quite sure it lands like they think they want it to. But the penultimate twist rocked
