The Monkey 2025
I think if this movie had fully committed to not taking itself seriously (it only mostly didn’t take itself seriously), it would’ve paid off. Some of this shit is hilarious. That blonde pale lady getting literally exploded by a shotgun? I was in stitches. Fuckin’ gold, goofy stuff.

The Wild Robot 2024
DreamWorks is back and better than ever. Everyone should watch this movie. This is a great payoff for being inventive and telling fresh stories.
If you’ve recently buried a parent like I have— especially a mom— this movie is going to smack you around a little bit, but you should totally let it. Best animated feature I’ve seen in a long time.
