Miracle 2004
Honestly, I think this is a very sweet movie. It really is an iconic story, and it’s touching to see how important this moment was to Coach Herb, the team, and the entire nation.
With that said… the film isn’t really anything special here beyond the story. The acting is… probably not great outside of Kurt’s performance (although I gotta say, those boys can SKATE). Perhaps I’m judging a Disney historical drama too harshly, but feel good films like this just don’t quite do it for me.

I really enjoyed the premise for the first 2/3 of the film, and I thought it used a good blend of interpersonal strife & the challenges of space travel to carry the plot.
