This movie, although somewhat confusing throughout, clearly depicts the racial tensions present in New York during the 70s and 80s. Rock Lee does an amazing job using cinematography to further support the message the story was trying to convey. This was my first time watching this film and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have never been much of a horror movie guy but have been getting into them recently and it was really cool to see the origins of modern horror.
