The Matrix Revolutions 2003
Genuinely liked this a lot on rewatch. The second was a hot fucking mess, but the grittiness and commitment to its ideas helped this third movie secure an actual spot as a respectable entry to a series begun by one as iconic as the first. It's nowhere near as timeless, tight, and philosophical as the first, but after the second it finally feels like the series remembers that it has something to say and do. Good time.

The Hourglass Sanatorium 1973
Towards the end of watching The Hourglass Sanatorium I came to the conclusion that it was my favorite movie that I'll never recommend to anyone. It has so much in it that I love stylistically, psychologically, and many other "-ically" words that I'm sure exist somewhere in between brain synapses where the best of this movie's soul shines.
