ethan hawke is incredible in this. the first time he speaks with cedric the entertainer, ethan gives us some incredible acting.

idk why but i just do not vibe with this one. the “kennedy” song with timberlake and driver is beautiful. as is the the entire road trip to chicago with austin butler and john goodman. but otherwise… just doesnt work for me like other coen bro flicks.
edit: thought about it some more and maybe the reason this doesn’t resonate with me is because i do not work in a creative field.
